The best places to eat and drink around Gästehaus Pernull

We often get asked by our guests if we have any recommendations for restaurants and cafés. And we definitely do! There are so many great places in the area that it's almost too much to mention. That's why we've already put together a list of some of them. If none of these appeal to you or you're looking for something specific, don't hesitate to ask us when you're here. We can also help you with reservations, which sometimes makes things a bit easier.

In addition to dining out, you can also choose to have your meal delivered to Gästehaus Pernull. Some restaurants also offer a delivery service. Ask us about the possibilities, we'd be happy to help you place an order. As a guest, you are also always welcome to use our guest kitchen. Here we have an electric 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, mixer, KitchenAid, and various types of butter, oil, and herbs. So if you want to cook for yourself one evening, that's no problem!

Gasthof Zum Feierabend

This cozy and authentic inn is located on our street, you can even walk there. Gasthof Zum Feierabend has been a well-known name in the region for 200 years and you can enjoy delicious dishes from the Austrian cuisine here.

Guesthouse Waldemar

For typical Austrian specialties, you can also visit this cozy restaurant.  
Gästehof Waldemar is located on top of the mountain and offers a view of the valley and the town of Hermagor. From the town, you drive a bit uphill to Kreuth. Around the restaurant, you will even find bison, pigs, cows, goats and a peacock.

To Alois, restaurant, bar and après-ski 

During the winter months, Zum Alois at Nassfeld is open, right next to the Millennium Express gondola. A very extensive menu with typical Austrian dishes, such as goulash soup and schnitzel, as well as burgers, salads, and grilled dishes. There are plenty of seats inside and on the large terrace by the slope. In the afternoon, the après-ski bar opens for a cozy, atmospheric time after skiing or snowboarding.

Klammwirt, at the entrance to the Garnitzenklamm

At the entrance to the beautiful Garnitzenklamm lies the Klammwirt. A small dining establishment with a terrace, where you can taste fresh regional products. Many locals come here for a bite to eat, often a good sign. A great base if you've walked the beautiful path through the gorge and want to regain your strength.
