Motor routes in the region
In our region, a large number of routes have been mapped out that you can ride very well by motorcycle but also by car. Each trip includes several fun sights along the way.
We have the route maps ready and we'd be happy to help you find the most enjoyable ones! You can also take a look at them below.
All individual routes can be viewed via the links, and we also have GPX files for these routes, so you can start right from our guesthouse. So don't hesitate to ask us about them when you're here.
If you're bringing your own motorcycle to Gästehaus Pernull, there's always a place here to store it dry.
ROUTES
Route 1: Saller Sattel and Pragser Wildsee
- Length: 280 km
- Sights along the route: Bruck Castle in Lienz, Old Town of Lienz, Prags Lake, Pilgrimage Church of Maria Luggau.
Route 2: Grossglockner Alpenhochstrasse
- Length: 315 km
- Sights along the route: Bruck Castle in Lienz, Heiligenblut, Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe, Pongau Cathedral, Artist City of Gmünd with Porsche Museum, Porcia Palace in Spittal.
Route 3: Sauris and Naturpark Weissensee
- Length: 261 km
- Sights along the route: Garnitzenklamm Gorge, Sauris, Kötschach-Mauthen Front Museum, Naturpark Weissensee.
Route 4: Triglav National Park
- Length: 210 km
- Sights along the route: Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass, Triglav National Park Centre in Trenta, Soča Rapids.
Route 5: Biosphärenpark Nockberge
- Length: 285 km
- Sights along the route: Porsche Museum in Gmünd, Old Town of Gmünd, Kölnbrein Dam with Skywalk.
Route 6: Drei-länder-tour
- Length: 288 km
- Sights along the route: Tarvisio, Bled, Bohinj Lake, World War I Museum in Kobarid, Tscheppaschlucht Gorge near Ferlach.
Route 7: Mittelkärnten and Gurktaler Alpen
- Length: 310 km
- Sights along the route: Old Town of Villach, Gurk Cathedral, Old Town of St. Veit, Hochosterwitz Castle, Granatium in Radenthein.
Route 8: Slovenia and Südkärnten
- Length: 290 km
- Sights along the route: Bunker Museum on the Wurzen Pass, Vintage Vehicle Museum in Ebriach, Obir Dripstone Cave in Bad Eisenkappel.
Route 9: Wörthersee and Schilcher Weinstrasse
- Length: 320 km
- Sights along the route: Maria Wörth, Wildenstein Waterfall, Hochosterwitz Castle, Herzogstuhl (Stone Chair), Magdalensberg.
